kcor Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 Is it possible to convert a cx programmer to a syswin file. I know you can convert a syswin to a cx, but need to email a file to a technician in a plant in Honduraus, and they only have syswin. thanks Quote
Nibroc Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 (edited) ... I don't believe this is possible. You could download your cx-p code into a cpu, and then upload it with syswin (if you have a cpu about - perhaps someone here could do it for you if no cpu handy) Nibroc Edited December 20, 2006 by Nibroc Quote
gtsuport Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 Nibroc is correct on this. I do not know of a way to convert to Syswin other then his suggestion. What cpu are you working with? I do have both Syswin and CX-P. Let us know. Quote
kcor Posted December 20, 2006 Author Report Posted December 20, 2006 Thanks for replys It is a cpm1a plc Was able to locate one in our parts room and download the program into it and then use syswin to upload the program. Thought maybe there was a way to convert from cx to syswin that I was just not aware of. Quote
