I have a dos version of modsoft program and I am looking for manuals that may help me understand how modsoft is made up. I am an allen bradley person so any help would be great

Personally, I wouldn't waste time with Modsoft. it won't program some of the latest hardware, and like most DOS software, doesn't run well under Windows XP. But then again, the Proworx software isn't always the most stable option either. Might want to explore Fastrak Softworks PLC Workshop for Modicon 32-Bit, which is a good Windows based editor for Modicon PLCs, and much cheaper than Modicon's own software. They are the ones who originally wrote Modsoft and Graysoft.
