jimdi4 Posted January 16, 2007 Report Posted January 16, 2007 I have a kid working here going to school and he wanted to know what the symbol for 15 and 16 are....I don't have a clue...anyone ever see these two electrical symbols before? Class_Activity1_Ladder_Logic.doc
robh Posted January 16, 2007 Report Posted January 16, 2007 Look Here 15. Normally open mechanical interlock? 16. Normally closed mechanical interlock?
IO_Rack Posted January 17, 2007 Report Posted January 17, 2007 I don't see a timer contact on the document you posted. Timers are pretty common and the symbol somewhat resembles a timer contact. So that's my guess. I have never seen it drawn like that before.
forqnc Posted January 17, 2007 Report Posted January 17, 2007 Probably the same thing, but I've always known those symbols to be Safety Interlocks.
swimmy67 Posted January 17, 2007 Report Posted January 17, 2007 The timer contacts are symbol numbers 30. 31. 32. 33.
Sleepy Wombat Posted January 17, 2007 Report Posted January 17, 2007 Wow ... the teacher posted them right out of Autosketch......
