Hello, I went to Mitsubishi training last week and just wanted to tell everyone that has a opportunity to go, it’s a must, a small price for all the knowledge that is given to you. The class was only 4 days, but I am still trying to absorb all the information that was taught to us, the teacher was very good and to the point, also keeping the class interesting was a plus. It was on the Q series automation platform (PLC), a very good product.

Hey Panic, I guess I left out a few details , my brain is still fried... I went to Mitsubishi office in Duluth, GA it was a good training center, with a Q-plc work station at every table that was good for the hands on side, as far as what was covered?... its listed on their web site here, I have been to several classes from several manufactures, this was one of the best I have attended, you can tell that there was a lot of thought and time involved in the making of the class You are very knowledgeable so I don't know if you would benefit from it like I did and others in the class, but I just wanted to give a plug for this class, it seems that many (myself included) are willing to speak when something is not right or when they get bad service, so on the other end of the spectrum, when I get good service, I try to share it with others. Mitsubishi has training centers around the country. I've always gone to the one in Somerset, NJ. The trainers are the same, though, as they are all part of the same group from HQ in Vernon Hills, IL. The training group also administers the training stations, so that doesn't vary either. The actual schedule depends on location, however, since it's up to the local Mitsubishi office to pick the courses based on customer needs. That doesn't mean you can't attend a session across the country. Just that the local office is responsible for making sure the class is full. The complete Mitsubishi training schedule for all locations is here. I'm planning to go to all the Motion training classes in Somerset.

Jeremy, you are correct that they teach in all of the regional offices. The training department gets feedback from the regional offices on which type of classes would be best for each region, and schedules accordingly. Another thing they take into account is the demand for any class. If you look, they teach Q about every 6-8 weeks somewhere, FX every 10-12 weeks, GOT1000 every 3 months, and try to scatter them around the country. I know a few people at Mitsubishi, specifically product managers, tech support group, and training department. So I'm familiar with their plan. I know they are working on some new classes in addition to what's currently offered.
