PlasticsDude Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 Can I wire a pressure transducer directly into a CPU 224XP or will I need an EM231 module dedicated to this task? Thanks! Quote
Crossbow Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 224XP has 2 built in analog inputs. But they are -10V to +10V. Not current. So you still need the expansion module for analog inputs of a current type. Quote
PlasticsDude Posted February 27, 2007 Author Report Posted February 27, 2007 But I guess I could just buy a -10V - +10V pressure transducer right? Quote
Crossbow Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 That would be one way, assuming you have not already invested in another. I've seen devices before to convert an analog signal to a voltage signal, but I would always side with buying the right device out of the gate before using a patch like a converter. Quote
Moggie Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 You could use a 250 Ohm resistor if you have already purchased the 4-20mA transducer? Quote
