innov8 Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 Hi all I'm new here, so forgive my naivette. I've been trying to no avail to change the state of an 'L' (latched) contact in a Meldas 64 controller. I've done a search and cannot even find where it is switched. There are several of these Latched relays in the program. 1 of them is on and stays so, but I need to turn them all on. Just a thought... Is it possible to call the relay # with a constant in a load box? thanks Quote
Crossbow Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 Have you tried talking to the Mitsubishi CNC support group? Go to the www.meau.com website, go into CNC products, and pick support. I bet they can help with the programming of the MELDAS better than many of us can. Quote
innov8 Posted March 8, 2007 Author Report Posted March 8, 2007 Hi, OK, I've tried contacting them, with no luck. All they want to do is point me to the .PDFs on their website (manuals); I have all of those. Can someone show me how to go about turning on an array of contacts with an LD box or something? Because that's what must be happening. There are 3 rungs that start with 'L' contacts ( L8, L9, L10) Each of these contacts enable a unique set of logic. L9 is on (enabling the subsquent logic), and there is no L9 coil, just the single contact. So there has to be something that's loading it upon startup. anyway that's my logic (pardon the pun) thanks Quote
Crossbow Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 A copy of the program would really help. Quote
