Profibus cable with AJ71PB92D

Dear All, Anybody that have experience in using Profibus DP configurator software to download directly into the AJ71PB92. What is the cable we should use to connect at the Profibus module DB9 port? Thanks & best regards, Steve

Hi Steve, I have attachted the file with the layout to this message. To acces the card directly you need GX Configurator DP 4 and I think it's also still possible with version 5. Check if you have a AJ71PB92 or a AJ71PB92D only the D versions can be programmed with GX Configurator DP or profimap.

Can you reshare the profibus interface cable pin outs please - i know its an old thread. Im using profimap V2, its used to be a blue lead supplied by mitsi back in the day - i need to make one as have a failed drive...

Usually Blue cable is for Profibus PA and the magenta coloured cable is Profibus DP. Below is the standard pinout of Profibus DP.

Thanks for the reply but I need to make a comms lead up to communicate with the A1SJ71PB92D card rather than the actual profibus connections.
