I am working on an existing system that consists of a Siemens S5 with a 308-B profibus card and am attempting to upgrade it to a 308-C. In the Existing S5 program from programming block 1 there is a call to function block 192. In function block 192 there are 22 variable declarations that i need to translate. This machine was built in Germany. Listed below are the variables that are declared in this function block. Can anyone translate what they might be. Variables: FB192 FREI f4.7 DBNR kf223 ADR kf244 DATW kf10 DRZ1 f136.3 DRZ2 f136.4 EIN f4.0 DREH f0.7 LOES f4.1 PARA f4.2 WAZE t12 ZEIT kt100.0 LANF f4.3 SIT f4.4 VER+ f3.6 VER- f3.7 STOE f4.5 ANAP kf0 ANAL fw202 ANAS fw202 ANUU f202.0 ANUI f202.0 If anyone can shed a little light on this. Moggie Posted May 5, 2007 Report Posted May 5, 2007 Not sure about the IM 308 B but for the IM308 C there was a Standard Siemens FB called FB IM308C. However the "block" parameters you have listed does not correspond to the FB IM308C. Any chnace you can upload the FB? Quote
