DanW Posted May 11, 2007 Report Posted May 11, 2007 for the RJ45/485 unit: There's an RJ45. And a plastic enclosure that covers a PC board with DIP switchs and what appears to be a green terminal block for the 485 copper wiring. How does the 485 copper wire cable get through the plastic cover? knockouts in the plastic cover? Custom drill the plastic cover for application? Ready-made hole through the PC card? What secures the 485 copper wire cable access to the unit? Dan Quote
Scadaman Posted May 11, 2007 Author Report Posted May 11, 2007 Dan, There is a opening for the 485 copper cable on the polycarbonate cover. The hole is big enought for 2 cables ( for of multi-drop or daisy-chain wiring ) The elevator type terminal blocks have screws to secure the 485 copper in place. Scadaman Quote
