ricicle Posted June 12, 2007 Report Posted June 12, 2007 Hi Guys, When browsing through the instructions for the above I noticed a statement saying that it occupies 8 I/Os from the expansion bus.Does this mean that if it is fitted straight onto the PLC you then lose the ability to use the last 8 I/Os on the PLC or am I mis -interpreting? cheers R Quote
Paul Ked Posted June 12, 2007 Report Posted June 12, 2007 The FX0n has a max of 128 I/O. Assuming you are not using this capacity for physical I/O, you can fit up to 32 points of I/O (eg 4off 8 point I/O units) or 2 special function blocks. In short, if you have an FX0n-40MR you will lose no Inputs or Outputs attaching 4 FX0n-3A units to it Regards Paul Ked Quote
ricicle Posted June 12, 2007 Author Report Posted June 12, 2007 Cheers Paul.Yeah I get it now.You lose them from the max available (through expansion) for that PLC. I've been using a FX1N 60MR so I will be alright adding 2 FX0N 3As Quote
Paul Ked Posted June 12, 2007 Report Posted June 12, 2007 You most certainly will Best Regards Paul Ked Quote
