rajsiyer Posted June 23, 2007 Report Posted June 23, 2007 Hi folks... I've forgotten something lately about tuning PID loops... It goes like this... First thing you gotta do is to set the differential and Integral gains to zero right ? Those of you, who recall the PID block for Modicon's TSX Micro and Premium, will realise that the Integral gain or time Td (expressed as time in multiples of 0.1 sec) is an integer in the range from 0 to 10000. In order deactivate this Integral correction... do you set this integer to zero or to 10000 ? The integer for Td lies at %MWi+4 in the block of 49 integers beginning at %MWi Thanks a million in advance, with best wishes to all who care to take a look at this.... Raj S. Iyer Quote
Mandar Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 Hi As far as I remember about tuning PID using Modicon TSX, it zero for deactivating Integral action and not 1000. Regards... Quote
