Citect :- Trend errors after upgrade to V6.10

Hi guys, we have just upgraded to Citect v6.10, and after three weeks it has been noticed that some trends are showing erroneous data. """Please note further investigation has revealed that the upgrade is not to blame, as this problem has been with the system for over a year.""" For example a speed trend taken every 30 secs will have data missing every so often, so instead of a full curve you have missing parts to the curve. Has anyone else had this problem ? If so have you a simple cure. There could be various reasons for this. Do you have the Citect Knowledge base ? You can download it if you register at www.citect.com. Attatched are some articles that might be of help. How many trend tags do you have ? What is the sample period and no. of files (default is 2) you have set for your tags ? How many files are there in your citect data directory ? Further investigation revealed that this was due to error in the PLC and not Citect at all
