Double RS232 Interfaces in FX1 PLC

Hi: I need to known if it is possible to have two Interface Module FX2N-232IF conected in a FX2 PLC. I need to receive data from a serial device and compare it to the reading from a barcode scanner. I need to to shown both data in a display (I´m thinking to use a Control and Display Panel FX-10DM-E). Is it possible to do this? Thanks in andvance for your help.

i've been adding on occasion 2nd port to FX PLCs, don't think they support more. you may consider sharing one port for multiple devices: http://www.bb-elec.com/product_family.asp?FamilyId=102

The FX2N-232IF is a special function module. You can put up to 8 on a PLC. But you cannot use the FX2N modules on an FX2 PLC. It must be an FX1N, 2N, or 3U. And the FX-10DM has been obsolete for years.
