Chris Elston Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 Hey, wait a minute....and here all along I thought these DARPA dudes were really smart brain-e-act people that program C++ in the corner of the room using Linux and terminal sessions.... Boy was I wrong.... Take a look in the back of this "MIT" entry this year... http://jalopnik.com/photogallery/darpa2007...wits/1000063038 I spy TWO PLCs, and a Eaton Touch panel...Man....us automation boys can hang with that MIT entry.... DanW Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 What's darpa? All I can tell is the vehicle is filled to the ceiling with racks of gear . . . Quote

TimWilborne Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 Yes, I think we can beat them. Where do we sign up? Quote
Nathan Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 Lol - nope, you were right all along - but those brains can learn to program PLCs. I'm sure you guys could run circles around them in that category. You guys up for automating cars? Quote
Sleepy Wombat Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 I am sure that we could.... also ours would be a work of art, (at least something to be proud of) not a birds nest .... Quote
nic00 Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 Isn't DARPA related to the SR-91 (Aurora?), have a vague memory of reading something about them in relation to the aurora Quote
