All blocks and hardware configuration disappear

Hello, I have copied a good working Siemens Step 7 project to mine notebook installed with Step 7 software. Now when I opening the project I see only an empty OB1-block (all other blocks are gone)and an empty hardware configuration. How is this possible? Problem with the hardware update on the notebook? Who have the answer? Greetings, mulderm

Propably a Step 7 version difference. I had a few years ago the same problems.

Did you archive/retrieve the project? If not, you need to archive (zip) the project, then retrieve (unzip) the project using step 7's zip program.

Hi, Normally copying a project from a machine and putting in a diff machine e.g. ur notebook is just a normal coying operation.The only thing is the location where u r putting the project n the browsing path while opening the project from S7 Editor. Please check again if you have done that correctly. Preet
