CX-Programmer V7 Vista install

Can anyone confirm that using an external 56k modem to connect in CX-Programmer V7.20 on a Vista install does not work ? When trying to go online CX-Server reports an unknown error. When I connect the modem to my XP notebook, same CXP file, same settings, I can connect succesfully. Only difference is I run V7.32 on the XP install, but currently do not have update possibility on the Vista system. By the way the Vista install correctly installs the modem as standard E56K V90 modem, just as on the XP install.
