HI I found a very good fourm for plc and in this fourm there this very good code and example and also HANS BERGER BOOK AND PROGRAM CODE -link removed by moderator- lamohah: It is not allowed to post links referring to websites where software licences and licensed software downloads are offered.This is against the Terms Of Service of MrPLC. Yeah...it looks a bit shady to me. Looks like a great place to catch a virus or some prison time. I'll stay here in the safe confines of MrPLC.

well, i don't quite understand the hype about those books... you talk to Siemens and they all praise it as if they were the best thing since bread and butter. they do look nice, hard cover and all. just when i was about to buy them, i accidentally got an access to those books. i don't know about others but i was less than impressed...

I haven't seen a Berger book for years, 15 plus, it was for a S5-135u I think. What they offered was a more detailed description of how the Siemens PLC's worked, better than the Siemens manuals. Quite often revealing a lot of the secrets within the PLC which became very effective for programming S5 PLC's. Gave programming examples for the more complex instructions and the effects on status bits etc. The Step 7 manuals I have seen are a lot better than the Step 5 manuals, so without seeing a Berger book I have no idea how they compare these days.
