GE Fanuc Series 90-30 and Omron CPM1A

Hi guys, anybody knows how I can receives data from an Omron CPM1A with a GE 90-30? Maybe... CPM1A to CPM1-CIF-01 to Modbus converter to GE90-30 ?!?!?!? Thank you Franky

Modbus sounds like an option. The 90-30 CPU363 has serial ports that can be set up as either master or slave. The CMM311 serial communications module can only be a slave. You might also consider DeviceNet or Profibus.

Omron works quite well with Devicenet and the Devicenet card seems reliable for GE. Watch out for cabling lengths and practices. Giz.
