brinkmann Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 FNC 88- PID Parmeters- which are the S3+. For the S3+1 Operation Setting (ACT) How do you enter (from the HMI) bit 0 = 0 for forward operation and bit 5 = 1 set upper and lower limits. All other bits would be at 0. Thanks in advance.
JRoss Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 If you aren't controlling the bits separately, then simply build a Hex word with the required bit pattern and write it to the correct data register. In your case, the bit pattern is (from Most Significant bit to Least Significant): 0000 0000 0010 0000 In Hex, that is equal to: H0020 So in your FX3U, use this instruction: |--| |-------------[ MOV H0020 D1 ]--| If you want to control the bits separately, the FX3U allows you to address bits in a word directly, using the following syntax: D1.5, where the number after the decimal point indicates the bit you want to monitor or control. For example: |--| |--------------[ RST D1.0 ]--| |--| |---------------[sET D1.5 ]--| You didn't say what HMI you are using, but most of the Mitsubishi GOT series HMIs allow you to address word bits in the FX3U directly as well.
