tunnysting Posted August 30, 2008 Report Posted August 30, 2008 Alright all, I've been lucky enough to get a new role in an engineering company working more with plcs. The only problem is I've never had any telemec experience having worked mainly with Rockwell and Siemens. I was just wondering if there are any pitfalls I should look out for. Is the code totally different? I've heard that there is some free software too is this the full package? Thanks in advance.
tragically1969 Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 It really depends what hardware platform and programming software they are using, do you know ? And nothing is EVER free with Telemecanique\Group Schneider !!!
cHud Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 If you are talking about their Zelio smart Relay or Twido plc then the software is free. PL7 software is used for the modicon micro and premium plcs, and the latest is Unity sotware which is used for the m340 (micro replacement) and premium and quantum plcs
