Sleepy Wombat Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 Sending what to Excel ? A number of ways exist the most simple is to store data in a csv file and then import it into excel. Quote
Guest Rich101 Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 Our computer at work is tied into our boiler control board. Citect retrieves some of this information and stores in on the computer, then to excel spreadsheet. For some reason its not coming out on Excel anymore. The computer screen display still show current information. I was wondering if that meant nothing was being saved or since I didn't see it in excel was it not working anymore? Anyway any help to get me in the right direction would be appreciated. Rich Quote
Sleepy Wombat Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 More than likely this funtionality sound like it was written in CI-Code or perhaps a DDE link ? I know this may sound stupid, but have you rebooted the computer ? Mabey the comms driver has hung. As to whether or not citect is storing the data I have no idea, but if it is able to be displayed as a trend check if this is updated regularly or realtime. Try the Reboot though first..... Quote
