BITS N BYTES Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 Recently installed CX-One on a new computer with Windows XP Home SP2. CX-Programmer and CX-Simaultor run just fine, HOWEVER whenever I try to access the Help pulldown menu or Instruction help when creating ladder the program crashes. Message is "CX-P.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Error report contains:- AppName: cx-p.exe AppVer: 7.3.0.8 ModName: unknown ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00000000 Anyone else had this problem? Any solutions?
Automation Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 Yes!!! It can be another thing but I believe that the solution is verifying that the files of help (.chm) they are associated to Internet Explorer. They are files html and not you reason, can that they are not registered to open up with a navigator. These of the software . . . Regards.
Berti Baker Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 Seems to work for me in CX-P 8.0 on XP SP3. Automation: you should be able to update to this version online. Bertie.
