Bateye Posted October 12, 2008 Report Posted October 12, 2008 Hi,, Im VERY new to all of this,, Im a Engineer , that for last few years have owned a Home Brew supplies business , We supply to small distillerys in the Pacific Islands , and one of our customers also have a Concrete block plant that was installed by the Korean's 8 years ago. This machine has stopped, and I am trying to help them get it going again ,, The Korean place has before sent out a rep to reprograme machine but the cost is now prohibitive for these people ,, It seems the unit used to programe PLC has been "Lost" I have photos of the main "Box" of tricks,, Is there anyone that may be able to offer help ? Remembering Im not up with sort of thing at all ,, And owners less so ,, But will answer questions and listen !! Here are some numbers of main control box ,, GM6-PAFC LG PLC,,,, K3P-07AS Master K (Probably put this in wrong section,?) Thankyou, Cheers Chris,NZ
Crossbow Posted October 12, 2008 Report Posted October 12, 2008 The Master K is a LG device... They have renamed that division of the company LS Industrial Systems. http://eng.lsis.biz/main/main.asp
Crossbow Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 Not knowing anything about what the machine does or the program which was in the unit, I doubt anyone here would say if the PLC is required or can be removed. I think althoug hte cost was high, having the people who programmed the machine come fix it would be best. And make them leave a printed copy of the program for future reference or for replacement with a newer PLC.
