plcdawg Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 I was wondering if anyone knows where I could buy replacement glass for the Mitsubishi GOT? The factory used to sell them, but now they want you to send them in and let them replace the glass. Thanks.
Crossbow Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Parts for Mitsubishi screens can only be had from Mitsubishi. They don't sell parts in the US, just repair service. You failed to mention what model. Perhaps you can find one on Ebay?

Somehow at one time, we talked Mitsubishi into selling us these glasses. I guess someone made a mistake. Now they will not sell them. I will check on ebay. Thanks for the help Crossbow.
Crossbow Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Sorry not much more to add. There are too many 'third party' repair shops which do not do the level of repair and testing Mitsubishi likes, so they do not make parts available. This is what I was told at least.

This has seemed to work fine so far. The repair is about half the cost of the Mitsubishi factory repair. Edited October 31, 2008 by plcdawg
