Connect CX-Simulator to VB6 using hostlink command

HI ALL, Possible to simulation using CX-Simulator virtual comm to VB6 using hostlink command?? How?? thanks Husanto

I don't believe you can connect using a virtual port. If you had 2 physical ports on your PC, you could connect 1 to the other with a null modem, using 1 for VB and 1 for the serial port of the PLC in CX Simulator. This does work.

Hi, CX-Simulator emulates a FINS node so if you're using Compolet or CX-Server Lite to access PLCs from VB then you can set it up to access just by the node number. rgds Bertie. Edited April 29, 2009 by Berti Baker
