scottmurphy Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 When attempting to display a variable string value, the only font options are the standard ones available in CX-D. Is this a limitation, or is there a setting somewhere I can set to overcome this? You tend to feel somewhat limited when there is only 6 fonts available.....
PdL Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Only 6 fonts? ONLY???!! Up to a few versions ago all we had was fine, standard and rough. So although it is still very limited, we should feel blessed with the other 3! I think the scalable gothic doesn't look too bad once you found the right size and horizontal spacing. But to answer your question, no, I am affraid not
scottmurphy Posted January 29, 2009 Author Report Posted January 29, 2009 Really, I will have a look at this to see if it will fit the look that I am after....
Berti Baker Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 Hi Scott, Remember the NS is not a Windows platform, so only CX-Designer only supports those fonts included on the Panel. As PdL says, better than before... but as you say, still a little limiting rgds Bertie
