nic00 Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 What does everyone use to backup there scada clients? Currently using acronis but seems to take forever..
BobLfoot Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 We run Windows Server 2003 on our Sacda Data Concentrators and have them configured in pairs with hot swap failover. The clients all run the same wonderware app to dispaly data. It is pilled of a Server 2003 box thru NAD. I don't fully inderstand the abckup side that's for the engineers and IT Folks. Just know it works for us.
pandersen Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 We normally take an image of the hard drive using Acronis or Ghost before shipping the machine to our customer. We usually don't install large factory-wide systems like Wonderware or RSView SE, so this works well for us.
