assistance program for upload

Hi i want to make upload for a apllication program in S7300 whaen i go online and make upload the symbole table didn't appear( i use normal laptop not PG) i want to know if a special program can do that and what is the Netpro? also i hered about a program to show the protected function? if it is possible to know what all the assistance program (software) that deal with Siemens hardware from siemens or other softaware company? many thanks
