sbaum Posted May 29, 2009 Report Posted May 29, 2009 I have recently upgraded a 8" and 12" NS V2 Screen to the latest Version 8.2. After the update the NS Web Interface Monitor and Operation Screens display incorrectly ( See screenshot attached ). Both screen are acting the same. Has anybody else experienced this? I haven't changed the program, just simply converted it to v8.2. Everything was working with v8.1. v8.2_Web.bmp
PdL Posted May 29, 2009 Report Posted May 29, 2009 You have probably downloaded v8.2 before it was removed from the downloads section. Reason of the removal is that Omron announced 2 faults in the firmware that needs to be fixed. 1. Web Interface will not work with Ver8.2. 2. Upload with USB/Serial / Ethernet will not work correctly. A file is missing. I donj't know if this is your problem but I would downgrade the screen System Version to 8.1 which should be the same procedure as a normal upgrade. I would choose complete format of the screen memory.
sbaum Posted May 29, 2009 Author Report Posted May 29, 2009 That sounds like my problem I downloaded v8.2 from the myOmron Europe site last week... Thanx Omron
sbaum Posted May 29, 2009 Author Report Posted May 29, 2009 Is there an easy way to rollback the system version of a project. I made some extensive modifications to my screen since I changed the version. If I try to copy screens to a v8.1 project CX Designer rejects it...
sbaum Posted May 30, 2009 Author Report Posted May 30, 2009 The download on myOmron is dated April 29, 2009. I have tried several time with 2 different screens. I guess I have to decide whether to rollback or wait for a new system version
PdL Posted June 19, 2009 Report Posted June 19, 2009 A new System Version 8.21 has been released, uploaded June 10th on MyOmron.com. I hope this fixes your problems!
PMCR Posted June 19, 2009 Report Posted June 19, 2009 It is also in the Downloads section of MrPLC http://forums.mrplc.com/index.php?autocom=...mp;showfile=865
