Georgios Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 Hello everybody, Has anybody experienced multiple Q UDE data exchange? Moreover, can i exchange data (fixed buffer) over Ethernet between eg three Q03UDE using only a common switch (no hmi, no scada), built-in Ethernet ports, and cheap CAT5 cable ? Thanks

Dariusch Posted April 25, 2010 Report Posted April 25, 2010 Hi, Try look at this. If you use GX-IEC then you could use this FB and example. It is in also in english http://www.beijer.se/web/web_aut_se.nsf/do...125766A0032D11E
Georgios Posted April 27, 2010 Author Report Posted April 27, 2010 Thank you, it looks to me that it is not possible to exchange data between 2 or more UDEs, better use something like Qm CPU and QJ71 ethernet module
kaare_t Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 Sure you can communicate with more than 2 CPU's. Simply use several function blocks (like Dariusch mentioned).....
Georgios Posted April 27, 2010 Author Report Posted April 27, 2010 Thank you for assistance, i ll try these new FBs!
