Rodney Posted April 30, 2010 Report Posted April 30, 2010 I have been looking every where for a ABB Protonic T200 programming manual. If any one could point me in the wright direction I would really appriciate it. I am replacing one of these P.L.C's of 20 some years of age and I am seeing some unusual programming techniques. Thanks in advance Rodney
Crossbow Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 Years ago I worked for an ABB distributor. We were mostly into the drives, but they offered us the PLC and HMI lines too. We rarely even sold a piece of the PLC stuff, as the part numbers customers asked for were completely different than the ones in the catalog, after we finally got a catalog, and we never found manuals on any of it on their website. We had to send emails to their tech support with every single inquiry. It wasn't worth the effort. That being said, I would venture to guess the best idea is to contact their tech support directly.
Rodney Posted May 2, 2010 Author Report Posted May 2, 2010 Thanks Crossbow but I already went up that avenue without any success. Rodney
Crossbow Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 Then I truly feel for your situation. It seems nobody outside ABB (at least on this side of the ocean) really knows much about ABB even offering a PLC.
