Guest Adi Mardian Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 :*-( I have Genius I/O DC32SNK with GBC731 Genius Bus Controller when I conected them and configure the plc 90/70 788 cpu and GMR configuration with genius i/o configured as output only. The cpu start, and i/o fault occured that loss of device. The I/O enabled at dc32snk still off Then I change the block to input only and change the configuration also.. and then the cpu can recognize the input from genius block but sill i/o enable off..... plz, how to solve this problem ??? thanx
Steve Bailey Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 The configuration of the Genius block, as established with the Genius Handheld monitor must match the CPU's configuration file as established by the programming software. If there are discrepancies between them, you won't get the I/O enabled LED. I'm concerned that you're changing between inputs only and outputs only. How is the block supposed to operate?
