We are getting an output of 78 when there is no load applied. Is there a way to zero out the value? (4-20mA) Thanks

If you use the configurator package for analog modules you can make the offset/gain settings directly. If you want to do it programatically then follow the steps in the manual (see attached picture from manual)

This is actually what we have been trying to get to work. Do you know if there are certain switch settings on the card required for setting the offset?

The special instruction "G.OFFGAN" will put the card into offset/gain mode. Alternatively you can use software switch 4 = 1 (see attached picture)
