mfuglsang Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 Hi. I have 2 Mp277 10" panels that have got the same problem. When i want to calibrate the panels, the calibration never ends. When i push on the cross on the panel, is it moving to at new place on the screen as it is supposed to do, but the problem is, that is continues to move around and around from place to place (the 5 places on the panel as normal). But it never ends the calibration. i wonder what can be wrong?? The 2 panels were installed at same time - about 2,5 years ago, and get the problem about same time. Maby within 14 days. The panels are placed in 2 different rooms on the facotry, and have been calibrated periodically over the last 2 years. Can anybody help me? Regards Morten
JesperMP Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 Hej Morten. This sounds extremely odd, as if some registry value has gone bad. I would try to load a fresh firmware. followed by a load of the runtime. Do that on one of the panels and see how it goes.
mfuglsang Posted December 16, 2010 Author Report Posted December 16, 2010 I have now tried to make a OS update on one of the panels. But it is still the same. Calibration never ends - the crosses just continues to move. I tried to calibrate with my screwdriver, so i press directly in the middle of the crosses every time. But after 3 minutes or so it have helped nothing.. Strange..
JesperMP Posted December 17, 2010 Report Posted December 17, 2010 Do not use a screwdriver ! You will damage the touch function, if not already broken.
mfuglsang Posted December 17, 2010 Author Report Posted December 17, 2010 Arr easy now.. I have not damaged anything.. You can use a screwdriver carefully - offcourse if you push hard, it can be damaged - but with very light pressure nothing happens i believe..
