Grilzz Posted March 1, 2011 Report Posted March 1, 2011 Hello! Does anybody have an idea on how to set up two servo drives MR-J2S-A on the same axis? I am having trouble because these servo drives do not support master-slave. Currently there is a signal from the computer sent to both drives, but because the drives are not synchronized or because of noise one of them falls in to regenerative error Al.30. This only happens when the speed is at maximum, when down to about 60% it works fine. Is there any way to send the signals from the computer only to one drive and from there on to the second drive? Or if maybe anyone has a different idea. Thank you for your help and best regards!
JRoss Posted March 1, 2011 Report Posted March 1, 2011 If you want it to follow position, use the pulse train output from one drive and feed it into the pulse train input on the other drive. I can't remember the parameters off-hand. If you want it to follow torque or velocity, set the following axis in one of those two modes, and use an analog signal from the main axis drive to control the following axis. What is the application?
servo_hunts Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 Dear, Take the encoder feedback from master and connect into slave pulse train input. For master/slave set the slave servo into position mode and set Pr.21=0012(A/B phase pulse train). Also u have to set Pr.3,4 &27 as per ur application.
