hot swap-ability ?

Not familiar with modicon, so question is, I have a problem channel on the 140ACI04000 analog input module,I have proved that the channel is the problem, I want to change it out on the fly. Can you hot swap these ? and if so, is there some configuration that needs to be done first to the module ? Are there version differences to look for as well ? We are running Concept Ver. 2.6XL SR3 Any info would be helpful, thanks.

if you want to change the card on quantum series, just simply open the terminal strip and replace. no need to power off or change any configuration. Because it is running on address, You replace a same type of card will not effect the system.
