project13 Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 Hello Hope you can help me here... I have a Omron CP1L-PLC that controls a Servo-Drive. I've wrotten a small UI in VBA that communicates over USB-Port, optional i could use a RS232-Port. But this stand-alone Application and the used Active-X only works on Windows systems. Now it should run on Apple Mac too, so the application must be to rewritten. The UI should be a standalone App that runs on Wndows and Mac and can communicate with the PLC from both systems. How could i do that? I thought about C++/Qt, but how could i connect and communicate to the PLC? from both systems? Does anybody have some experience with this? Are there some other ways to realize that? Thanx a lot for every help and input!
