In the case that anyone has any thoughts or different ways of doing this, the following are some of my projects . . . . I'd be glad to share details to anyone doing similar projects- maybe we can learn together! [not asking questions here . . . just sharing, thanks] First Project: I am making a key entry program. (yes. . . this is re-inventing the wheel, but by doing this, I have full control of my key entry). I have wired each of the 10 digits to PLC inputs. I am making a security alarm code for dis-arming. each key stroke adds an instance in a counter. The counter then is in AND relationship with an Integer registry that contains the digit value that I moved into it in an earlier rung.
