gleblanc Posted August 12, 2011 Report Posted August 12, 2011 So, my project list at work is now as long as both my arms, and since I can't seem to make it any shorter, it's time to see about sending some of this work out. The project is to create some takt-time counters for use in processes that are required to be in-sequence with our assembly line, but aren't actually ON the conveyor. Should I post a full description of the project here, or just some summary info? I'm just not sure which is more appropriate. Let me know if you might be interested, and I can post or email all the pertinent details.
JRoss Posted August 13, 2011 Report Posted August 13, 2011 That's up to you. I'd probably post a summary then send full details to contractors who want to bid. Right now, the most important details are: 1. Rough scope - enough to get idea of the amount of work. 2. Deadline 3. Platform or platforms being used 4. Location of work That will help contractors know whether they can do the work based on workload, capability, and proximity.
