rabsi Posted September 14, 2011 Report Posted September 14, 2011 Canopen communication between FX3U(master) Festo MPA valves(slave) Hello, I have some trouble starting the communication between a FX3U with FX2N-32CAN and a Festo MPA valve island with a canopen node. I can't get the Festo MPA in operational mode.(its stuck in pre-operational mode) (I have already tried to start the node with layer 2 messages (cobid 000h data0100) and with SDO command start up all nodes 1F80). (I've already checked cabling, node adresses, and set the devices to the same baudrate, and "tried" to do the mapping). But I think i'm doing something wrong. I don't have trouble getting the FX2N-32 CAN in operational mode (as it is demostrated in the short manual of the can module). I was wondering if there was someone that has a programming example of how you put a slave node in operational mode with the FX2N-32CAN as master in a canopen network? Kind regards
Inntele Posted September 15, 2011 Report Posted September 15, 2011 Hello, I had an experience the similar with you, where FX2N-CAN as master connected to ACURO encoders (one or two). However, it was so far ago that these program, written for GX Developer, has not preserved. I remember that also had a problem when tried to implement the example from user manual. If I remember correctly, there was a mistake in address of one cell of the buffer memory. Sorry, it's what I can say now... to help have to start all over again...
horacek Posted September 16, 2011 Report Posted September 16, 2011 Hi, node startup command is 1F82. It is one year since I implemented CANopen but it took me about one or two weeks to make it working. There is nice PowerPoint presentation explaining communication between FX2N-CAN and Frequency Invertor. Do you have it? M.
kaare_t Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 Sorry for the really late reply! Did you ever solve this problem?
