Excel 2010 has a nasty habit of replacing commas with semicolon, and remove quotes (") i csv-files. I have not found any setting to correct this, but Openoffice calc, (http://www.openoffice.org/) works, and is free. Edited by kanweas

Try setting your regional settings in Windows to English (US), or at least adjust the list separator symbol to comma (,). In most European countries the list separator is not a comma (,) but a semicolon (;). CXD expects to see a file with commas and not semicolons.

I had the same problem.. My solution is to make one alarm in designer, -> export it, (ascii) -> open with excell -> text to columns -> make the alarms -> and save it. -> it will ask you if you want to keep the old format, to this you have to say yess. if you save it as a new format the old one will be lost. and you are ready to start all over.. This is in excel 2010
