JP_TFV1 Posted November 15, 2011 Report Posted November 15, 2011 I'm trying to find in the new software (GX Works 2) where to set up the ethernet parameters for an FX3U-ENET and can't find it anywhere. I appreciate any help. Thanks
Crossbow Posted November 16, 2011 Report Posted November 16, 2011 There are no parameters to set in GX Works2. FX Configurator-EN is used for that, or you can just write to buffer memory from your PLC program. This is covered in the manuals for the FX3U-ENET.
KAZAH Posted December 18, 2011 Report Posted December 18, 2011 the parameters are set in the Melsoft Navigator.
Crossbow Posted December 18, 2011 Report Posted December 18, 2011 They do not get set in Navigator. Navigator cannot download to the module. FX Configurator-EN can download to the module. They can be set in Navigator for the purposes of display in Navigator. Unless something has changed or you have version newer than 1.21, which is what I have to go by...
Crossbow Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 I never knew it integrated the FX Configurator-EN to that level. I know it is required for setting the module up. And I know it must be installed for the module to even show up in Navigator. I just didn't realize you could start the one from within the other yet.
Crossbow Posted December 20, 2011 Report Posted December 20, 2011 Nothing. As I said, I didn't know you could start FX Configurator-EN from within Navigator.
