tonyo4231 Posted December 1, 2011 Report Posted December 1, 2011 Is anyone familiar with the software needed to program the Telemecanique TSXP47425 processors? I believe it runs on an OS/2 warp operating system.
Crossbow Posted December 2, 2011 Report Posted December 2, 2011 It was OS/2 based. It's so long obsolete you won't even be able to get it from Schneider last I knew. It was called PL7. There were a bunch of variants for the TSX17, TSX27, TSX47, etc. PL7-3 I think is the one you'd need. But then you also need a really old PC running OS/2 and a special programming cable.
tonyo4231 Posted December 2, 2011 Author Report Posted December 2, 2011 I have the cables, etc. and I can run the program on a Windows XP laptop using Virtual PC. However, the version of the programming software In have is older than what the Schneider tech uses when we call him in. I would need version 6.1 of an XTEL pack. Was hoping someone had it or would know where I could get it.
Crossbow Posted December 2, 2011 Report Posted December 2, 2011 It's not something you could get for free. Schenider tech support would have to provide it to you, since I do not believe they sell it anymore. Even if discontinued, it doesn't make it legal to share on the Internet.
