Firewalker96 Posted December 20, 2011 Report Posted December 20, 2011 Just wondering, is CX-One licensed by user? Or by device installs? We have users with a desktop and a laptop, but also program PLC's with a shared computer connected to the production line. So do I need licenses for all the devices (computers) CX-One is installed on or just for the number of users that are actually using CX-One? I've seen some companies sell their software as a "user" license, but when you actually read the the EULA, it's actually a device license. CX-One is sold by user license, so I assume that I just need enough licenses that cover the users I have as opposed to the number of computers it's installed on, but thought I'd ask in case I'm wrong. gtsuport Posted December 21, 2011 Report Posted December 21, 2011 (edited) Attached is what the US software license indicates. See point #2. Canada may be different. Hope this helps. Edited December 21, 2011 by gtsuport Quote
