xzen Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 I have to transcribe a program from an old one. I'm a bit uncertain about how timer functions are annotated. The old program printout looks something like this: T000 0S4 1<>0 T001 0S4 1<>0 T002 15S0 0<>0 T016 2S0 1<>1 I understand the Timer number part and duration part, but what about the last part (0<>0 etc.)? RussB Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 Which PLC and what software is this? Quote
xzen Posted February 16, 2012 Author Report Posted February 16, 2012 I don't know and the customer dont know. The hardware was thrown away years ago. Now the customer wants to have a new similar system rebuilt with a new controller (GE PACSystems). He wants me to use the same old ladder logic. I have a printout from 1985. No PLC or processor type is mentioned. Quote
Steve Bailey Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 If you don't have anything available to help you interpret the old program, then get a detailed description of how the machine is supposed to work and use that as your guide. Quote
