connecting to GOT 1000 using mini USB port on GOT

Hi All, I cannot connect to the GOT 1000 mini USB port from my laptop USB port. I am using windows 7 Where can I get the relevant driver? Thanks

It's installed on your PC when you install the GT Works2 or GT Works3 software. Perhaps your software version is too old to support Windows 7? You should be able to pick 'Install Automatically' when Windows asks for the driver.

Hi, Thanks fore the reply. Could possibly be the answer as Am using GT designer2 version 2,96A on both my laptops. On my old laptop using Windows XP it works but on my new laptop using windows 7 it does not work. What version of GT Designer should I be using?

You will have to look at the revision list in the manuals for that. I don't have that information here. And 32-bit or 64-bit OS? And GT Works3 has been out for around 2 years. I would upgrade to that.
