Guy Posted June 14, 2012 Report Posted June 14, 2012 We have recently receve a machine fron China controlled by 2 S7-200 CN PLCs, I am not familiar with Seimens material. My question is : can I hire an integrator with the American version of the Seimens program to upload a copie of the ladder in the plc? Guy Quote
RVaughan Posted June 14, 2012 Report Posted June 14, 2012 The way I understand your question, and please correct me if I'm wrong, is that you want the same program that's in the machine, but you want everything in english, and you're wondering if the hardware will accept the English program. If so then yes, the hardware will take the program. I believe there is a language setting internal to the PLC that the integrator will have to change beforehand. If you already have the program translated, you're looking at a rather simple operation. Quote
Moggie Posted June 15, 2012 Report Posted June 15, 2012 (edited) It is possible to upload from the S7 200 CN PLC's by using Siemens Step 7 Microwin V4.0 with at least SP7 also look here - http://www.automatio...178&language=en http://www.automation.siemens.com/WW/forum/guests/PostShow.aspx?PageIndex=1&PostID=309032&Language=en#309032 Edited June 15, 2012 by Moggie Quote
