Hello , I'm a newbie on mitsubishi Automation i wanted to know if it's possible to transfer a program of a FX2N to a FX2C , for the moment i have a message error when i try to send the program ES:01808009 Any help or comment would be greatly appreciated Daniel

I don't know what the error is of hand but the answer to your question is 'it depends' For one, the size of the program. The FX2n has a larger memory than the fx2c. The FX2n has more instructions and more bits and words. Until you tell us more or post the program here we can't tell you anymore.

Thanks for the answer , well the error was a bad port com looks like but i still have the problem when i change the port com Actually the FX2N prog have 11085 Steps i post the program for you but looks like i can't attach the file i will upload it on the afternoon

FX2C is an older model, and doesn't have the program memory for that. FX2N only has8k without a RAM memory module, so your 11K program won't fit there either.

I'm confused now. From where did you get the program? It's the 11K size that puzzles me - did the plc have a 16K eeprom in it?

every time you plug usb to serial converter to another usb port it will be assigned another port number. you can check current port assibnment in Windows Device Manager.

Well for the momen we use an other FX2N we got today we send the program on him for the moment that's good we just have to adjust some mechanic problems @Panic Mode : we have checked this don't worry about it was de Port com 1 of the computer, and on the gx dev this port was selected to Edited by dan27
