cdaly2001 Posted July 26, 2012 Report Posted July 26, 2012 Hi All, Ive just been informed by that you must use ET200m IO when using Siemens CPU redundancy. Is this the case? If so why? Best Regards, Chris
jrw Posted July 28, 2012 Report Posted July 28, 2012 Chris You can use standard profibus i/o, but you need a Siemens Y link. For redundancy- you need ET200M because it will have two IM's in an active backplane The two IM's give you two profibus ports
