Hello, I don't know why since 15 days the PLC FX0N-40MR-DS start with the status "PROG-E" not "RUN". After 15 minutes and sevaral swtich off, the PLC change the status alone ???? This PLC is running since 11 year without trouble (I hope use it will still run 3 years). I don't know if it's battery trouble or if it more serious. I don't know if it 's a recurrent trouble with Mitsubishi PLC? Thank you for your answer. Vincent.

The FX0N does not have a battery led, or a changeable battery. The problem you describe could be all manner of things. A short on the outgoing 24vdc where the plc tries to boot - see's the short and shuts down. A dry joint somewhere on the pcb. I have had several FX0N's with this problem. One of them, if I squeezed the FX0N with my hand it came back on and stayed on (until the next time) Just a few suggestions of the many that could be made

Thank you for your answers. I'm going to check every short on the outgoing 24vdc. Tomorrow, I will see if the PLC start with RUN status. I can't connect with the PLC because I haven't any Mitsubishi software. There are only this Mitsubishi PLC in the plant and I haven't the PLC program. Do you know if it possible to download a free software to read memory of the FX0N?

There was a version of GX Developer-FX which was limited to 1000 steps of program code which is on the Internet. But I don't have a way to know how large your program is.
